Mohamed Zanbrakji
MD
Dr. Mohamad Zanbrakji is a board-certified general surgeon and critical care physician with more than a decade of experience helping patients achieve better health through evidence-based medical care. As Medical Director at Vitale, he provides clinical oversight with a focus on patient safety, personalized treatment, and lasting wellness outcomes.
Dr. Zanbrakji earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine before completing his General Surgery residency at Stamford Hospital. He then completed a fellowship in Trauma and Critical Care at Yale New Haven Hospital, where he received advanced training in the management of complex medical conditions.
In addition to his surgical and critical care background, Dr. Zanbrakji has extensive experience in medical weight management and a strong interest in holistic, patient-centered care. His approach combines modern medicine with individualized treatment plans that help patients improve their health, confidence, and quality of life.
Dr. Zanbrakji is affiliated with Inova Fairfax Hospital and Inova Loudoun Hospital and remains committed to delivering the highest standards of medical excellence across every aspect of patient care.
Gem Walker Lawson
Managing Partner & Executive Director
A nationally certified Surgical First Assistant and licensed surgical professional, Gem brings over 20 years of elite clinical experience to the forefront of aesthetic care.
Since graduating from the National Institute of First Assisting (NIFA) in 2008, Gem has significantly advanced her clinical expertise through extensive hands-on experience within the United States healthcare system. Over the past 15+ years, she has refined her skills in complex surgical environments, adapting to evolving technologies, patient safety protocols. Her U.S.-based training has strengthened her proficiency in advanced surgical techniques, interdisciplinary collaboration and patient-centered care, positioning her as a highly skilled and trusted professional in her field.
Throughout her career, which began with training in Grenada and advanced through NIFA in Nevada, she has supported thousands of procedures across specialties including orthopedic and plastic surgery. This deep background in high-pressure clinical environments has earned her a reputation for meticulous precision, reliability and a calm, patient-focused approach.
As the leader of the Vitale MedSpa, Gem bridges the gap between technical excellence and patient confidence. She is deeply passionate about ensuring every client feels heard and supported, leveraging her extensive surgical expertise to deliver thoughtful, attentive care and positive outcomes.
Outside of her professional role, Gem is a devoted wife and mother of two boys. She enjoys gardening, traveling, and entertaining family and friends with new dishes and creative cooking.

Stef is a passionate aesthetic nurse dedicated to helping clients feel confident, refreshed, and beautifully themselves. With a unique background blending nursing, advanced aesthetic training, and over 20 years of experience in the beauty industry, she brings both clinical expertise and an artistic eye to every treatment.
Before becoming a registered nurse, Stef built a strong foundation in skincare, cosmetics, and facial aesthetics through her experience as a licensed cosmetologist and beauty professional.
Her passion for enhancing natural beauty led her to pursue aesthetic nursing, where she combines her medical knowledge with her love for detail, symmetry, and individualized care. Stef specializes in creating personalized treatment plans focused on natural-looking results, skin health, and confidence. She believes every client deserves to feel heard, educated, and empowered throughout their aesthetic journey.
When she isn’t helping clients achieve their aesthetic goals, Stef enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new places, and staying current with the latest innovations in aesthetic medicine.
